“...En Quarantaine” (In Quarantine) is a film by Gerrit Schreurs and Johan Creten made during the period of confinement due to the health crisis of 2020. This experimental film will be presented at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg (MAMCS) as part of the group exhibition "Aux Temps du sida, œuvres, récits et entrelacs" (In the Time of AIDS, works, stories and intertwining) from October 7, 2023 to January 21, 2024.

In the Summer of 1991, Johan was invited to spend time in the Villa Saint Clair in Sète, South of France, while the world was battling another pandemic. It was during this time that Johan worked on some of his first "Odore di Femmina" torsos.

This experimental short film by Gerrit Schreurs, entitled "...En Quarantaine," tells a very personal and hopeful story, following the preparation for Johan Creten's show “La Quarantaine” (1991), and how to cope with loss and life.
